About Pema 

Established in April 2019 in the United Kingdom, PEMA has rapidly grown into a dynamic, independent coalition of distinguished professors and dedicated academics. Our group is united by a strong resolve to counter and combat any acts of unethical conduct, harm, or violence within university environments.

We firmly believe in the sanctity and tranquility of academic spaces. To us, universities are not just hubs of knowledge and innovation, but also sanctuaries of intellectual growth and personal development. As such, they must be kept free from any element that threatens their essence or disrupts their tranquility.

In pursuit of this mission, our activities extend beyond passive advocacy. We actively intervene, providing a vigilant watch over academic institutions around the globe and stepping in when necessary. Our strategies include robust advocacy, initiating and supporting legal actions, and constantly striving to strengthen and enforce ethical standards and moral conduct in universities.
